I didn't know exactly how to major in creative genius...

I started crafting for fun with friends and family as early as I can remember. Being an "artist" is something I always dreamed of. I eventually went to college for art and education - but that in no way relates to my 9-5 job...*sigh*....and then I stumbled across, quite accidentally, Etsy about 15 years ago. Etsy showed me that I could easily sell all the things I had been making(and left over supplies too!) and that encouraged me to grow my craft into a little more than a self adorning and funky gift giving hobby. I have even began selling outside of etsy at local craft shows. My goal has always been to at least support my crafting habit, but every day I work on improving my products and marketing them in ways I never imagined. I am still very much a beginner at all of this with limited spare time, so I am soaking up knowledge as I meander along in this fantastically creative world.
